As a leader in higher education Pauline Aweto has consolidated her ability to motivate individuals to develop an awareness for self-reflective leadership skills, which involve self-knowledge as it unfolds through different phases and stages, as well as the acceptance of change as an inevitable part of the journey. In her memoir (Click Here for Thought Leadership), she shares how such changes have helped her to grow, evolve, redefine and rebrand herself, and how self-knowledge and a self-reflective leadership mindset have enabled her to make choices, take chances and effect changes in her life in alignment with her individuality, values, principles, strengths, beliefs and purpose. From her personal experiences of progression in academic and professional leadership, she shares a paradigm shift, from the understanding of leadership as a job role, position, place or space to an internal inclination, values, and individual effectiveness in achieving personal and professional goals.
